an introduction of sorts

So, I've been reading this community for almost a year now, and I thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm Isabella. I was raised between New York and Rome, and while I'm a baptized and practicing Episcopalian, I can't help but feel that, (admittedly in part an aesthetic reaction to my Roman upbringing), Catholicism is in my blood. I'm considering conversion, but waiting a bit (until I'm fully educated/finish my degree), before making a final decision. As of now, I'm simply a traditionalist Anglo-Catholic.

I'm heading to university in the UK next year to study Theology. Much of my interest in the subject is secular - its bearing on history and culture, and the way doctrine and the Church molded and were molded by their times, but I can't deny that some of the interest is quite personal.

Anyhow, I'm always open to making new friends - so if you'd like to friend me, go on ahead!
